Business Development Representative Manager

Full-time, on-site role based in Indian Trail, NC. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing strategic partnerships, and expanding Zentra’s client portfolio across key eCommerce channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting discovery meetings, preparing and delivering proposals and presentations, and negotiating contracts. The Business Development Manager collaborates closely with marketing, operations, and account management teams to align solutions with client needs, track performance, and ensure a smooth handoff from sales to ongoing service. The role also involves market research, monitoring competitive activity, and contributing to the refinement of Zentra’s go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of proven management experience and a passion for leading, coaching, and inspiring a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Demonstrated business development or sales experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, pipeline management, and closing new business.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships, with effective negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Comfort with data analysis, market research, and using CRM tools to manage
    accounts and opportunities.
  • Knowledge of major online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Reverb) and
    general eCommerce practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple opportunities and
    deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
  • Experience working on-site in a collaborative team environment; prior work in a growth-oriented company is a plus.

Special Projects Coordinator Internship

This role is an in person/on-site role based in Indian Trail, NC. This position has potential to be a permanent position for the right candidate. This internship supports cross-functional initiatives related to eCommerce operations, including assisting with data collection, market research, and project coordination. Daily responsibilities may include preparing reports, tracking project milestones, documenting processes, and supporting communication between internal teams and external partners. The intern will help organize information, maintain project documentation, and contribute ideas to improve workflows and eCommerce strategies. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment where the intern collaborates closely with supervisors and project leads on high-impact company initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Ability to conduct structured research, analyze data, and summarize findings
    clearly for project stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise reports, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation
    software, collaboration platforms) and comfort learning new systems.
  • Interest in eCommerce, digital marketplaces, or brand management, with a willingness to learn about platforms such as Amazon and Walmart.
  • Collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
  • Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a degree program in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
